The Project

Picture
The Great Loop of North America
The Great Loop is a continuous waterway around the eastern United States and Canada, providing safe passage for boats of all sizes. The route ranges from 5,000 to 7,500 miles, passing through many states and several climate zones.  Starting in Cincinnati, Ohio, I will  be paddling a kayak down the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers, Gulf of Mexico, Atlantic Coast, Hudson River, New York canals, Great Lakes and the Illinois River back to the Mississippi.
My name is Josh Tart and my goal is to paddle in search of adventure, good fishing, unique places and new relationships, all while using a partnership with Charity: Water to raise funds for clean water wells in developing countries. So FOLLOW my adventure, DONATE for clean water and SPREAD the word!
